Fraser's Hill - Amazing Wildlife
Fraser's Hill is a highland resort destination in Pahang state, 2 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur, Peninsular Malaysia. It is a favorite destination for nature lovers especially birders in the region as Fraser's Hill has recorded over 250 species of birds. Apart from birds, it is also rich in other wildlife. Tigers are also occasionally spotted there. In the night, nocturnal animals can be spotted easily along the road. You get to see different species of civets and flying squirrels. Slow loris is also commonly sighted. Equipment yourself with a headlamp and you will be surprise with what you can find along the road!
During the night, look out for eye-shine in the trees.
The eye-shine turned out to be a slow loris!
We managed to spot 3 species of civets in Fraser's Hill. The Small Toothed Palm Civet, the Masked Palm Civet and the Common Palm Civet.
