Wild Sri Lanka - Lunugamvehera National Park
A visit to Lunugamvehera National Park yielded wonderful results. Lunugamverhera National Park is just adjacent from Yala National Park. We were told by the guide that Yala was very crowded. If we ever see the leopard, there will be a jeep queue. It is not easy to have a good view of the leopard. So he proposed to visit Lunugamvehera instead.
Well, I must say, it was totally worth it. We saw 3 leopards in total and a close encounter with the sloth bear!
